My name is Chuck Graham and I have been involved with the Academy since 1998; first as a student; then as a faculty member; and finally, as academic dean. I have been the academic dean for 19 years since 2005. I live in Baltimore, MD with my husband where I am also a licensed acupuncturist with a private practice that I operate out of my home.

I am writing to express my interest in serving on the Academy’s board. I believe that both my professional experience and academic qualifications would enable me to make a strong contribution to the Academy and its mission and vision. I was an elementary school teacher for 10 years before becoming an acupuncturist, however, the majority of my professional career has been with the Academy. I am passionate about five element acupuncture and educating highly effective, compassionate and successful Five Element practitioners who provide exceptional, personalized patient care.

Through both my private practice and time as academic dean at the Academy, I have gained a deep understanding of the needs of the Academy. I also hold a large amount of institutional knowledge. I am an excellent team player.

Being a member of the board will afford me the opportunity to contribute my experience and skills, as well as deepen my own understanding of the Academy and its needs. I hope you will look favorably upon my candidacy.

I am eligible for an alumni, faculty, or staff seat and am happy to serve in whichever category is needed.
