I am writing this letter as a statement of interest in the opportunity to serve as a board member with the Academy for Five Element Acupuncture. I am an Alumni and graduated from AFEA in 2019. I am honored to express my interest in being considered for a seat in the Alumni category on the AFEA board. I am passionate about acupuncture and its powerful impact on promoting health and well-being. Serving on the acupuncture board would allow me to contribute to the growth and regulation of the acupuncture field, ensuring that high standards of practice are maintained for the benefit of both practitioners and patients alike. I am confident that my dedication and commitment to the practice of acupuncture will allow me to contribute meaningfully to the AFEA board and help shape the future of acupuncture students, regulation and practice.

My extensive background in healthcare, coupled with my deep appreciation for holistic healing modalities, has equipped me with the knowledge and skills necessary to make informed decisions as a board member. I am committed to upholding the integrity of the practice, promoting education and research in the field, and advocating for accessibility to acupuncture services for all individuals.

My strong communication skills, attention to detail, and collaborative nature make me a good candidate for this work. I believe that my dedication to the advancement of acupuncture, coupled with my ability to work effectively in a team setting, would enable me to make valuable contributions to the board.
