DAVA MICHELSON

Dava Michelson is an Acupuncture Physician licensed in the State of Florida and a certified NCCAOM diplomat. She holds a Masters degree in Acupuncture (M.Ac.) and a certificate in Chinese Herbology from Academy for Five Element Acupuncture. She earned both a Masters in Medical Qigong (M.M.Q.) as well as a Doctorate in Medical Qigong D.M.Q. Other certifications include Zero Balancing and Shiatsu. Her private practice in Miami Beach is based in Five Element Acupuncture and includes Medical Qigong, Qigong exercise, Zero Balancing, and an interdisciplinary form of massage. Dava has been teaching general curriculum as well as Professional Ethics for over 25 years, first at Educating Hands School of Massage and then at Academy for Five Element Acupuncture. Dava’s love and study of nature began at age 12 in classes at the Brooklyn Museum Art School; an exploration that led to a Bachelors of Fine Arts (BFA) from Antioch College, a direct path to study Five Element Acupuncture, a love of gardening and kitchen alchemy.
